Earlier afghanistan used to send dry fruits to india via Pakistan, but in recent times, amid increasing tension with Pakistan, afghanistan now sends dry fruits to india through Chabahar port of Iran. Now due to the war between iran and Israel, the supply of dry fruits has stopped. Due to this, the prices of dry fruits have increased by five to ten times in the wholesale markets of Delhi.

The businessmen here have built a large number of warehouses and from here dry fruits are supplied to indian businessmen. delhi Grocery Committee General Secretary Dheeraj V. Sindhwani says, the supply of dry fruits from iran has reduced, if it is not restored soon, the prices of dry fruits may increase in the coming months.
