To encourage a healthy work atmosphere, a Swedish company has implemented an odd policy for its staff. To relieve stress and agitation among its employees, Erika Lust Films, a private Swedish firm, provides a 30-minute masturbation break each day.

According to Erika Lust, the company's creator, she instituted the absurd rule after realizing that she and her staff were "struggling" with life's typical tensions in addition to the additional worries of COVID-19.

Erika initially developed this policy as a trial, which proved to be successful.  She developed a permanent policy later in May 2022 that allows each employee to take a daily 30-minute break for "self-pleasure."

Erika wrote a blog post outlining her reasoning for introducing this policy.  "A year into the pandemic, in 2021, I began to notice my team and myself struggling," she wrote.  Life during the pandemic had begun to wear us down.  We were generally more nervous, less focused, and more agitated.

The Masturbation Station In the Office
In the blog article, she also mentioned that she gave her team a dedicated Masturbation Month and gave them an additional half-hour each day to engage in their self-pleasure routine. Additionally, they set up a space in the office that they refer to as "the masturbation station."

She stated, "Masturbation has been shown to not only make you happier, more relaxed, and more focused, but it is also a proven creativity booster and it increases your focus and drive to get things done."

Implied Masturbation Break As Permanent Policy
Erika Lust Films has hinted at a long-term "masturbation break" policy for its staff.  Erika noted on her website, "I launched the initiative to coincide with Masturbation Month, but we decided to make 'masturbation break' a permanent company policy that we enforce until this day."
