Chennai, india A major gathering of village temple priests is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Mayilappur, Chennai, officials have confirmed. The conference will bring together poosaris (temple priests) from numerous village temples across tamil Nadu to discuss various issues related to temple rituals, welfare schemes and heritage preservation.

The announcement was made by P. K. Sekar Babu, the Tamil Nadu minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments. Sekar Babu said the event aims to strengthen community ties among village temple priests and highlight the government’s efforts to support their welfare.
