Both human rights and social justice are widely used words in the political and economic debates of the 20th century. The use of these words continues in key discussions of the 21st century, including the environment. These two words, which refer to the individual and the community, respectively, can have an almost intimate meaning. Even intertwined with each other. There is also the view that social justice is a collection of individual rights.

Political scholars led by john Rawls define the principle of social justice as 'justice to be distributed. These words are used in the same sense in india and especially in tamil Nadu. Class representation is the way to achieve social justice ... The way to achieve it extends to the reservation in education and employment. Class representation does not become the full meaning of social justice. But while the struggle for reservation is not over, we are at a point where social justice is about ensuring equal rights and equal opportunities.

In the first general election to the chennai Assembly, the Justice party began its journey to social justice when 28 of the 65 general constituencies were allotted to non-Brahmins. The reason for marking the period of the Justice party as the beginning of the history of social justice is not only because the first government for the reservation was born during its reign. This is because of the abolition of the goddess system which has tarnished the dignity of women.

Although Periyar was in the congress party in the early twenties when the Justice party was in power, it was there that the class rights struggle began. At the State congress Conference in tirunelveli in 1920, congress President S. Srinivasan did not accept the resolution on class representation proposed by Periyar. Following tirunelveli, Periyar's attempts to implement the resolution at the Tanjore, Tiruppur, Thiruvannamalai and kanchipuram conferences continued to fail. Periyar, meanwhile, took an active part in the Vaikom struggle for the right to walk on all the main roads and the Cheranmadevi Gurukul struggle for equality.

Class representation in tamil Nadu has not been established by the Justice party alone. With the support of the Justice party, when Subramaniam remained in power as chief minister, S. Muthiah, the then minister of Registration, issued an order to fully implement class representation. Omanthur Ramasamy, the chief minister of the congress party, was the first to introduce a separate reservation for the backward among the non-Brahmins. Periyar wholeheartedly supported Muthiah and Ramasamy.

The supreme court has ruled that the Class Representation Order implemented by Omanthurai is not valid under the new Constitution of Independent India. Periyar waged a great struggle against it, declaring august 14, 1950, as Class Day. As a result, the reservation for the latter was adopted as one of the first amendments to the Constitution. Periyar's long political journey into the chennai Provincial Association, the congress, the Justice party, the Self-Respect Movement and the Dravidar League was his axis of classism.

Periyar's birthday is social justice day, having declared his vision of social justice. Periyar placed great emphasis on global class representation in his writing and speech. After the enactment of the new Constitution of Independent india, the words social justice began to circulate widely in indian politics. Discussions on the welfare of the underprivileged have developed to the point where they cannot be complete without that word. But social justice is about falling within the reservation. It aims at an all-encompassing level of equality.

In the six months since the launch of the 'Republic' magazine as a voice for social justice, he wrote: 'Both communities must be united forever. Fearing to take away their guilt for the sake of uniting the Anganam and assuming that it would be to no avail for both communities to treat the Brahmins with affection only on the surface, without worrying about anyone's cruelty, the truth is that our nation is bound to make amends for the real liberation by tying up and correcting the sins and brotherhood. This was initially stated in an editorial in the first issue of the Republic: “Self-respect, equality and fraternity must flourish among the people. All people need to be enchanted with love. "It simply came to our notice then. (Republic, 1.11.1925)

The words Equality, Brotherhood, Equality, Humanitarianism and Humanity in the Pledge for Social Justice Day were spoken by Periyar almost a century ago. How is it possible for human beings to become perpetually hostile to each other in the name of birth?
