Simran Naureen, a 12th science student at Ursuline Convent Girls' school, ranchi, has achieved great success while battling poverty. He has secured first position in ranchi district by scoring 478 marks. simran, who became Ranchi's topper with 96.6 percent marks, has secured fifth position in the entire state. Simran's father Jashim Akhtar sells hats on the pavement in Haat-Bazaar. At the same time, mother Ishrat Jahan handles the housework. 


Topped in 10th also 

Simran is the younger of her two sisters. His elder sister Arfa is doing PG in Physics. After the release of the result, simran reached the school with her mother and after seeing the result, her happiness knew no bounds. He said that in the 10th examination also he had secured the top rank. He was confident that he would get a good rank in 12th also. After topping in 10th, simran wanted to take admission in CBSE school further but her father's financial condition was not so good that he could get her admission in a private school. He was not able to pay such expensive school fees with his earnings. After this simran had to kill herself and continued her studies from Ursline school itself.

They have seen closely that the youth of the parents has passed in poverty and predicament. In such a situation, simran wants to remove the financial crisis of her family forever by reading blood.



Simran's mother Ishrat Jahan says that her husband runs the household expenses by selling hats and other items in the Haat Bazaar. The problem arose for them in the lockdown when the Haat Bazaar stopped. In such a situation, arranging bread for two times for the family also became a big problem. In such difficult times, it once came to his mind that now his daughters will not be able to study further. Despite this, the father somehow managed to meet the expenses of his studies. According to Ishrat Jahan, bad days have passed. Their daughters will not illuminate the name of jharkhand but the country with their talent.
