On Monday, Nov 1, Mohammad Yunus, a 32-year-old technician from Chennai, lost his life while driving his two-wheeler to his workplace when he was struck by a pothole. On Anna Salai road in the locality of Saidapet in Chennai, the event occurred around 8.44 a.m. on Monday. According to the accident site's CCTV footage, the young man lost his balance due to the poor road and potholes. His two-wheeler then began swerving to the left in the direction of the city bus. Yunus and his motorcycle skidded, and he has been crushed by the municipal bus's back wheel.


According to reports, the young man succumbed on the scene. At the time of the collision, he was using a helmet. Soon after the incident was recorded, the Guindy traffic police hurried to the scene. Meanwhile, Thevaraja, the operator of the government city bus, has been detained despite the fact that the young guy lost his balance due to the pothole and fell beneath the bus tires. He was charged with causing death by carelessness and reckless driving under the indian Penal Code. Following the tragedy, however, netizens are criticising the authorities for the road's inadequate upkeep and oversight.
