The schools were reopened to students in grades 9 to 12 on september 1 last year as schools were running online due to the curfew during the Corona period. In the meantime, at the consultation meeting held at the General secretariat in Chennai, the education program was discussed about doorstep education at home. The home-based education program will be implemented in 12 districts, including Trichy, Tanjore and Cuddalore. The doorstep education program will be implemented for a period of 6 months. He said the doorstep education program will help to reduce the learning gap.

The scheme will be implemented at the rate of one volunteer per 20 students. The project will run for a continuous period of 6 months. All learning classes through this website are arranged to be monitored by the school administration. This program will further reduce the learning gap. We are planning to provide an incentive of Rs.1000 per month to each volunteer.
