Diabetes can be seen in the feet...

The reason for type 2 diabetes ranges from obesity to the wrong way of eating and the main cause of high sugar in the body. Whenever the number of sugar increases in the body, rapid changes and problems start appearing in the body. Too much urine, feeling thirsty, feeling more hungry all of a sudden, etc. but generally, people take it as normal. The most common symptoms of diabetes are seen in the feet.

Tingling or increasing pain in the legs

Whenever the level of sugar in the blood increases, neuro-related problems start occurring. The Mayo Clinic report states that the nerves of the legs are the first to make a difference due to increased sugar. If pain, tingling or numbness has started increasing in your feet, then it is a sign of diabetes.

Blisters on feet

If there are a lot of blisters, sores or pimples on the soles of the feet, then this is also a sign of diabetes. This is called a diabetic foot ulcer.

Athlete's foot

Whenever the blood sugar increases in the body, then there is also the problem of the athlete's foot. This is a fungal infection that occurs in the toes or soles. Problems like itching, redness and cracks sometimes occur in both feet.

Gangrene problem

High blood sugar also affects the veins and this causes the cells of the toes to die. This is called gangrene. In fact, when there is a problem in the veins, then the fingers of the feet do not get oxygen properly and the blood vessels start closing. If the problem persists for a long time, it leads to gangrene.

Nail infection

People with diabetes are also at increased risk of a fungal infection called onychomycosis, which usually affects the toes. This causes the nails to become discoloured (yellowish-brown or opaque), thick and brittle.
