LPG cylinder Rs 200 subsidy only for those people..?

Everyone else can only get it at market price.Union oil Secretary Pankaj Jain told a press conference that cooking gas has not been subsidized since june 2020 and will only be subsidized as announced by Finance minister nirmala sitharaman on march 21. There has been no subsidy for LPG users since the early days of the Corona infection. Since then, Ujwala beneficiaries have been given only the now-introduced subsidy, said Union oil Secretary Pankaj Jain.When Union Finance minister nirmala sitharaman announced a reduction of excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per liter and diesel by Rs 6 per liter, Under the Ujwala scheme, a subsidy of Rs 200 per 12 LPG cylinders per year for project beneficiaries will be given. nirmala sitharaman said that the poor will benefit from the subsidy of 200 rupees due to the unprecedented rise in the price of cooking gas. With this 200 rupees subsidy, the Union government loses 6100 crore rupees in revenue.
