Almost all stars in Tollywood boast about their 'legacy power'. Recently Balakrishna thundered "Reyyy! Nee history lo blood undemo...na bloodke history undi," (loosely translates to, your history might have a lot of blood, but my blood has a history of its own) from his upcoming entertainer Dictator.
Analysts say Tollywood stars follow 'Tu jaanta hai na mera baap kaun hai?' syndrome. Ram Charan's Bruce Lee had the song Megameter Megameter Neelo Undi Megameter... singing praises of his dad Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

In Pokiri Mahesh spoke about red chillies highlighting Burripalem,Guntur known for red chillies. Balakrishna and Nagarjuna did the same in 80s. In the 1984 film Mangammagari Manavadu, every time Bhanumathi proclaimed, 'Vadiki antha valla thatha polike,' referring to her grandson Balakrishna,while Nagarjuna tried ANR's antics.
Balakrishna upped the ante in 90s with films like Samara Simha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu and Chiranjeevi took the cue with Indra. NTR and Ram Charan carried out the legacy with their debut films. This is followed by Sudheer Babu, Sai Dharam Tej, etc.
