On the occasion, her fans lauded her as the queen of south indian films, praising her performances as jaanu in 96, Jesse in Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, Abi in Abhiyum Naanum, Shailajaa in Varsham, and siri in Nuvostanante Nenodantana, and many others.


Trisha responded in response to their pleasantries and wishes, "'Get a job you don't need a vacation from,' suggested a wise man. That's exactly what I did. And I'm still on sabbatical. For those who have accompanied me on this trip, I will never abandon you, and I am here today because of you. I'm grateful beyond words for the greatest 19 years of my life (sic)."


Trisha, who earned her feature film debut opposite Suriya in filmmaker Ameer's Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002, also shared a photo of herself cutting a cake that said: "Queen of the South" on social networking sites. "Thank you for all the amazing memories and many more to come," read an inscription on the cake. On the theme of a cinema reel, the cake was covered with posters from several of Trisha's flicks. trisha appeared in the 2019 Rajinikanth film petta and the Disney+Hotstar film Paramapatham Vilayaatu in 2021.
