It's been revealed that valimai got a hefty offer from an OTT platform.
Ajithkumar's valimai is one of the most awaited movies of Kollywood. The movie has been in production for over 2 years and has faced multiple hindrances from Covid-19. The shooting had to be stopped multiple times and the director himself revealed about changing scripts due to Covid-19. The movie was expected to have a grand release for sankranti in Tamil, telugu and Hindi.
Being so, the producer boney kapoor made an announcement yesterday that the movie has been postponed after increasing corona cases. Fans were disappointed about the postponement. There's another interesting news making rounds. Apparently, Netfix, the no.1 OTT platform has made an offer for over 350 crores. However, boney kapoor has been hell determined to bring the movie to theaters and had rejected the offer.
For a movie that has had faced several hurdles on its way, it's only fair if it has the movie released in Theaters. H Vinoth, promising young director has directed the movie. Actor karthikeya has acted as the antagonist while huma qureshi has acted as the female lead. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed songs for the movie while it's speculated that ghibran was roped recently for RR works.
