warangal Sreenu is the subject of a complaint from director puri Jagannath for allegedly blackmailing and harassing him. The Liger director further accused financier G sobhan babu of threatening violence against puri and his family in hyderabad and encouraging others to use violence against them. puri also asked the police to protect his family in Hyderabad. The other day, puri Jagannath's voicemail message surfaced, in which the director mocked the actions of purported distributors and their schemes to get other exhibitors to seek payment from puri for Liger's losses.
The Liger director made it quite clear that he agreed to make up the losses solely out of sympathy and that he was under no obligation to do so. puri Jagannath said in the complaint that warangal Sreenu had breached the terms of the film distribution agreement and had failed to pay the necessary sums to other sub-distributors. In addition, puri claimed that warangal Sreenu had recruited the sub-distributors by encouraging them and falsely portraying that he (Puri) owed them money and would pay them back.
He claimed in the complaint that while he has been living in mumbai and his family is currently residing in hyderabad, warangal Sreenu and other sub-distributors intend to access his property on the pretext of a dharna and harass his family in order to illegally obtain money. puri Jagannath demanded harsh action be taken against them and requested police protection for himself and his family in Hyderabad.
