During Thursday's hearing, the Enforcement Directorate had opposed the bail granted to the actress in the patiala House Court. He argued in the court that when all the accused related to money laundering have been sent to jail, then why should Jacqueline be given bail? With this, he expressed his opposition to Jacqueline's bail plea, saying that the actress has tried to run away from the country. Not only this, he did not even cooperate in the investigation of the case. In such a situation, Jacqueline should not get bail.

Jacqueline is also accused of tampering with evidence in the money laundering case.
