Actress Swara Bhasker surprised everyone by suddenly announcing her marriage to Samajwadi party activist Fahad ahmed on 16 february 2023. Both have registered marriages under the Special marriage Act. However, now both are going to get married to pomp. The ceremony is scheduled to be held this month and preparations have already started for it.

According to a report in 'Hindustan Times', the couple is planning to skip a grand wedding and tie the knot at Swara's maternal grandparents' house in Delhi. However, despite the intimate wedding, the couple will go ahead with the planning of haldi, mehendi, and sangeet between march 11-16.

A source close to the family told the portal, “Swara is giving a miss to the destination wedding and is instead opting for an intimate and emotional wedding at her maternal grandfather and grandmother's house in Delhi. The preparations have started and she wants to perform all the rituals in detail. Their wedding rituals are going to happen one after the other, there is a lot to celebrate.

Swara announced her marriage to Fahadh last month with an adorable video that showed the couple's journey from friendship to love. Swara revealed in the video that they had met during a protest and their relationship grew while discussing each other's tweets. Swara and Fahadh's love started when Fahad invited her to his sister's wedding, which she initially declined due to work. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, "Sometimes you search far and wide for something that was right next to you. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first and then we had a- Found the other one! You're welcome in my heart to @FahadZirarAhmad It's chaotic but it's yours!'' 

For her court marriage, Swara wore a red colored saree with a cream-colored blouse. A Choker neckpiece, matching earrings, and maang tika complemented her look. On the other hand, Fahadh too looked handsome in a red Nehru jacket. In the wedding photo that surfaced, Swara was seen flaunting her big diamond ring. Is Swara bhaskar pregnant?
