One of India's brightest actors of his generation, Ranbir Kapoor, has made a long-overdue comeback in the rom-com genre. Interest has grown as a result of his partnership with the young entertainer director Luv Ranjan. The songs eventually rose to the top of the charts. 

Mickey (Ranbir Kapoor), a wealthy scion of an affluent family, is Rohan Arora, also known as Mickey. He owns a real estate development company in addition to car dealerships and jewellery shops. Also, he runs a clandestine relationship-breakup business that helps people exit relationships without coming off as badass in the process. He works a covert job here.

His best friend and he travel to spain for the stag do of his friend manu Dabas (Anubhav Singh Bassi), who is getting married. They are joined by Tinni, also known as nisha Malhotra (Shraddha Kapoor), a friend of Manu's fiancée. Mickey falls head over heels in love with Tinni the moment he meets her. He introduces her to his family when they go back to Delhi. When the families of both parties get ready for the wedding, Tinni feels uncomfortable and chooses to break up with Mickey over the phone with the aid of a breakup agent. She had no idea Mickey was the agent, as it turns out. What follows is what?
