The aforementioned lady is Raashi Khanna, and she spoke about how she just missed getting the role of Baahubali.

"I attended the Baahubali casting call. But, rajamouli sir thought I was a little too sweet for the part. The sword I was carrying didn't exactly fit my personality. Then he told me he wanted someone who could also carry a rugged look because I appeared to be a little too slick. He then suggested I contact Oohalu Gusagusalade, Raashi said. The actress continued by saying that after Oohalu Gusa Gusalade helped launch her acting career, she received offers from the tamil and malayalam film industry. 

Of all the reasons, Raashi was passed up for a part in the epic Baahubali movie because she was deemed too adorable for the role tamannaah ultimately portrayed.
