The actress alleged that when she first met bollywood director anurag kashyap for a role in a movie, he sexually assaulted her. She also brought a lawsuit against anurag kashyap a few years ago, but the director made no comment. Moreover, the actress played the title character in chandrasekhar Yeleti's Prayanam.


She tweeted, "Now state why I shouldn't brag about south...!!! I worked in the south cinema industry with 2 national award winning directors &famous directors but nobody ever touched me improperly yet in bollywood I haven't even worked with anurag kashyap, bt he raped me on our third meeting.

A few days ago, payal ghosh posted an incomplete suicide note without a description to her instagram account. Since then, it has gained popularity online. Fans of Payal are very concerned for her. Only a few weeks earlier, she had discussed mental health. The actress didn't mention any names in the statement, but she did say that specific people would be held accountable if she passed away for any questionable reason, such as a heart attack.
