A few days back, the audio launch function of Ponniyan Selvan Part 2 was held in chennai in a very grand and star-studded fashion. The event was held at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. All the actors, actresses, and crew members of Ponnian Selvan were present at the event. Ulakanayakan kamal haasan and young superstar simbu were special guests at the function. 

It was already announced that kamal haasan will attend the audio launch. But it was a surprise that simbu would come. STR's arrival was announced hours before the event began. simbu and Kamal Haasan's entry was the major draw of the event. All of the celebrities who attended the occasion were given seats in the front row. Additionally, the seats designated for celebs had their names posted above them. The hosts had set aside chairs for trisha and Simbu. 

Images of the two seated next to one another with their names written on them quickly became popular online. After the photos went popular, trolls and memes claimed that karthik and Jessy would finally be attending an event together. However, by the time the event began, trisha had moved away from Simbu's position. According to reports, trisha moved the seat that had been assigned to her from close to Simbu's seat. Between Kartik and vikram was Simbu. trisha wasn't in the area.
