In the previous year, ram charan directed the movie Godfather, which starred his father Chiranjeevi. The movie didn't make money despite having good material. Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi's biggest movie this year, was released during the Sankranthi season. The movie received a lot of flak for its grotesque content, yet it nevertheless did well because it was released during festival season. 

Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in Godfather. salman allegedly laboured for no pay since he loves and is close with Chiranjeevi's family. But his particular cameo didn't do much to help; in fact, it ended up being one of the aspects of Godfather that was viciously mocked and hurt the film's appeal as a whole. Recently, ram charan made a cameo appearance in the song Yentamma from salman Khan's next movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Charan, salman, and venkatesh all appear to shake their legs in lungi in the song, which was just released. 

The song is receiving a positive reaction from the audience, but Salman's dance once more turned into troll material. As a favour to salman for the Godfather, ram charan made this movie. Additionally, he gave Salman's crew permission to film the song on the acharya sets. Godfather didn't benefit from Salman's support, and it remains to be seen whether Charan's return flavour will work in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's favour as a remake of the tamil classic Veeram.
