Kollywood is full of surprises. The year 2015 in particular had lots of ups and downs. Out of 235 movies released only 12 movies were hits. 25 movies were average ventures. But actresses remained same. There were lots of new faces. Few ace actresses made a come back. Let's see the list of top actresses in 2015. The list is based on their hit ratio and future projects.

5. Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal just had two releases. 'Maari' and 'Paayum Puli'. Both the movies were average ventures. She made a come back after taking a small break. Kajal had the seductive body to tempt everyone, but when it comes to acting skills, her body language remains the same. She just has one movie in 2016.

4. Samantha

The dusky babe is back to Kollywood. She shifted her base from Tollywood. The actress had two flops this year. '10 Endrathukulla' and 'Thangamagan' were the two releases. '10 Endrathukulla' in particular was a colossal flop. Her own voice dubbing is another irritating thing. With tax evasion and raids, 2015 is definitely a worst year for Samantha

3. Hansika

Hansika had four releases this year. But sadly only one of the movie was a success. 'Aambala', 'Vaalu' and 'Puli' were failures. 'Romeo Juliet' is the only success for her name. She must learn to sign some big projects.

2. Shruti Haasan

Here comes our Milky white baby. If not 'Vedalam', Shruti haasan will not even feature in this Top 5 list. Her 'Puli' was a complete joke. Wonder how she signed such a project. The movie was a disaster. But fortunes turned completely with 'Vedalam'. In fact 'Vedalam' was shruti's first success in Tamil. Shruti must prove her mettle apart from skin show.

1. Nayantara

The Golden Girl of Kollywood ! Started the year with two big flops, 'Nanbenda' and 'Massu'. But she came back strongly with 'Maya', 'Thanioruvan' and 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan'. She is the only actress to give hat-trick success and also to act in more number of movies this year. She also proved that she can act well apart from being a glam doll.
