Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's latest movie is titled 'Durga'. Damarukam fame Srinivas Reddy will be directing the film. The formal muhurtham of the movie will take place tomorrow at 8.30 AM in Annapurna Studios.
This is the first movie launch of Akkineni family after Legendary ANR's sad demise. And it will be for sure an emotional moment for Naga Chaitanya.
Earlier, Srinivas Reddy planned to remake Nagarjuna's cult classic movie, Hello Brother with Naga Chaitanya. But Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya were not so impressed with the script and they dropped the project.
Hansika will be seen as the heroine beside Naga Chaitanya in this film. Akula Shiva gave the story and Anup Rubens is the music director. The regular shooting of Durga will begin at a later date.Nagarjuna will be producing the film under his Teja Cinemas banner.
Naga Chaitanya will be shooting for Durga and Oka Laila Kosam simultaneously. He is hoping to release both the films in this year itself. He already have two movie projects lined up for release in the coming two months - Autonagar Surya and Manam.
