He said that even his own maternal uncle denied to give him his daughter. He has seen many girls, but everyone rejected said ANR. However, annapurna is the only girl that accepted to marry him.

People close to anr at that time said that he went through a lot of trauma because of it and at one point of time he even wanted to take his own life, but annapurna stepped into his life and changed everything for good.
