Karthi's 'Sulthan' is one of the biggest releases post the pandemic period. The movie which should have released last year has got postponed just like other movies due to the pandemic. The movie got released on april 9th in both telugu and Tamil. The expectations of the movie itself were a big reason as it failed at the Box-Office. it also marks the debut of rashmika mandanna in Kollywood.


Well, this is yet another movie that speaks about farming. The movie is all about glorifying Karthi's heroism. All other characters including the female lead rashmika are not strong enough. The corporate villain character was very weak and the comedy portions hardly evoke laughter. yogi babu is most annoying with his stereotypes. Three songs have been picturized well and are instantly catchy.


Now, the movie is gearing up for an OTT release. The movie will release on Two different platforms for tamil and Telugu. The tamil Version OTT will be releasing in Disney Plus Hotstar while the telugu version of OTT will be releasing on the Aha Platform. The movie will release on both the OTT platforms on May 2, 2021. The tv rights are with Star vijay in tamil Version and the telugu version rights are yet to be sold.
