Sai Pallavi and Fahad Faasil’s Malayalam thriller ‘Athiran’ released in malayalam recently and received good reviews. The Vivek directorial is all set to wow the telugu audience. Thanks to producer Ammamreddy krishna Kumar bringing the film to telugu states. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Renji Panicker, Leona Lishoy, Shanti krishna and more in key roles.
"The story is based on certain true incidents that happened in Kerala back in 1970.Both prakash raj and atul kulkarni are familiar to the telugu audience. Ghibran, who worked on Prabhas's 'Saaho', has composed the background music. Dubbing works are currently going on. We are planning to release the movie in the last week of August. The telugu trailer will be out soon," the producers say.
It may be noted that sai pallavi managed to strike a chord with the telugu audiences with her debut film Fidaa. It went on to become a huge hit with the collections soaring at the box office. In order to cash in on the popularity of the actor, the makers of the malayalam movie Athiran had planned to dub the film in Telugu. It is set to release in telugu on May 28th on Aha platform.
