Suriya seems to be going the path natural star nani went in the recent past hence it needs to be seen if he can do what nani did.
Natural Star nani is one of the top heroes in tollywood industry. Since the arrival of life wrecker Covid-19, nani has had two OTT releases in the form of v and tuck jagadish which streamed on amazon Prime Video. Recently, he had theatrical release in the form of shyam singha roy which as well on to become a super hit.
Being so, kollywood star Suriya seems to be going down the same road. He as well had two OTT releases since Covid-19, Soorarai Potru and jai Bhim. Both got released in amazon Prime Video and both got wide approval across the country. Like nani, Suriya is now set to face theater release in the form of 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan'.
The movie has been announced for march 10 release. We will need to wait and see if Suriya can give a hit like nani in theaters. Priyanka Mohan has starred as the female lead and Pandi raj has directed the film. Sun Pictures have produced the movie while d imman has composed music for the film.
As much as comparisons are fine, needs to be noted that Nani's two film in OTT were utter flops while Suriya's films in OTT were raging hits.
