Kannada movies are now being made on a large basis. In "Vikrant Rona," the desire to appeal to all indians is evident. This assignment includes the production design and the fashionable taking the creators displayed. However, style should enhance the content. "Vikrant Rona" is nothing but sound and fury. The story takes place when a litre of gasoline cost only Rs 6. The 1970s must be included! A dense forest serves as the background. It starts off similar to an action thriller.

Then it develops into a spooky suspense novel. An investigation drama emerges once sudeep arrives on the scene. It develops into a revenge story much later. Then comes a tragicomic romance. All genres were combined in a blender by the director Anup Bhandari. sudeep spends the whole first half of the movie doing investigations while sporting a headgear resembling Sherlock Holmes. The next scene is a drab love song featuring Anup bhandari and Neetha Ashok.

We also get to see a song that was recorded on them. The first part of the movie is rather mysterious and engaging despite the inconsistencies. The first half of the movie is entertaining despite the fact that it was inspired by movies like Aamir Khan's "Talaash" and Fahadh Faasil's "Athiran."
