Due to low attendance, exhibitors have voluntarily lowered the number of "Laal Singh Chaddha" and "Raksha Bandhan" performances, according to a bollywood Hungama report. The number of "Laal Singh Chaddha" performances has been decreased by about 1,300, while 1,000 fewer "Raksha Bandhan" performances have been cancelled nationwide, it continued.

According to reports, the movies' combined opening day earnings of Rs 20 crore fell short. Laal Singh Chaddha's opening-day revenue of approximately 11.50 crore nett was significantly less than anticipated for the movie. The hindi Film industry is in disarray as a result of the opening day performance.

It is noteworthy that Aamir Khan's movie was released on the Hindu holiday of Raksha Bandhan and that the date came after a long weekend because this year, Independence Day occurs on a Monday. Instead of taking advantage of the long weekend at the box office, the exhibitors are compelled to cut back on the number of "Laal Singh Chaddha" performances just as the weekend is about to start. The same day saw the premiere of the movie "Raksha Bandhan," starring Akshay Kumar. However, its performance has been just as poor and bollywood is clearly evaporating right now.
