
According to a rumour going around, a top OTT platform that has bought the film's wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital streaming rights has contacted producer Karan Johar about a rapid re-deal. Although the creators had initially promised to stream the movie only eight weeks after its premiere, it now appears like the agreement will be revised. According to reports, the OTT platform offered 10 crores more than the original agreement, allowing them to release the movie a month before its scheduled theatrical release.
Even though "Liger" is a bollywood movie and the telugu Film Producers Council guidelines may not apply there, producer Dil Raju claimed that all future films will adhere to the 8 week timetable for OTT release.
