The kashmir Files, produced by abhishek Agarwal of abhishek Agarwal Arts, was a great box office success and vivek Agnihotri was the director. The producer-director team had previously stated their intention to make two films back-to-back. Pallavi continued, "Unless there is a pandemic-like event when the business grinds to a standstill, individuals will get paid as long as movies are being made." The actress declared that the motion picture industry will never be placed behind bars.
