Namrataa Shirodkar, a prominent performer and supermodel in indian cinema, is well-known for her performances in hindi films. On january 22, 1972, she was born in bombay, Maharashtra. While she was a little child, her interest in acting was sparked by the fact that both her grandmother Meenatchi Shirodkkar and her elder sister Shilpaa Shirodkar worked in the movie business.

She finished her primary childhood in mumbai and worked on the shatrughan sinha movie before joining Shirdi Kae Sai Babaa as a child actress in 1977. She was also recognized for her attractiveness, and in 1993, while modelling, she won the Miss india title. She represented india and finished sixth at Miss Universe. That same year, she represented india in the Miss Asian Region pageant, where she placed as the first sprinter.
