The movie's creators officially announced the beginning of work on the sequel to "Kantara" the other day. Rishab Shetty and Hombale Films revealed that scripting for Kantara 2 started on the eve of Ugadi. The plot of the film is not a sequel, but rather a prologue to the events depicted in the franchise's first movie.

Reports are now surfacing regarding the hero's pay, who also happens to be the project's writer and director, Rishab Shetty. The first Kantara movie was shot with a budget of 20 crores because the producers never thought it would be successful outside of Karnataka. rishabh was paid about 5 crores for all of his work. However, given Kantara's enormous success, his remuneration for the upcoming series film will undoubtedly increase dramatically.

The rumor has it that Rishab will receive a huge Rs 50 crore as an advance payment in addition to receiving a portion of the sales. That can easily get him another 50 or so crores, bringing his total compensation to 100 crores. This applies to being a writer and director as well as a hero, though. In the prequel, actors who starred in Kantara will also make an appearance. Huge amounts of money are being invested in this project by Hombale Films. Soon, more information about the movie will be released.
