Independent director christopher nolan is presently working on his upcoming movie Oppenheimer. This biographical drama is based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a renowned theoretical physicist and the man credited with developing the atomic bomb. The book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, authored by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, served as the inspiration for the movie.

Renown for Peaky Blinders Oppenheimer is portrayed in the film by Cillian Murphy. The latest rumors indicate that this movie will have a 3-hour length, making it Nolan's longest work to date. His most recent feature, Interstellar, has a 2-hour, 50-minute runtime. It appears that Nolan will be giving all of his followers and the rest of the audience a lengthy visual story to enjoy based on the duration rumors. The filming was done in IMAX.

Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and Rami Malek all play significant roles in Oppenheimer. On July 21, 2023, it will be made available on film in the 35mm, 70mm, and IMAX formats.
