Radhika Apte used to talk about the treatment she received on the set of a south film by a prominent star, while Tamanna used to talk about how the south audience would nickname her "milky," which she doesn't like at all. This was done to generate extra buzz for those films. Even Taapsee Pannu, a seductress with curly hair, cries out for attention in the same way, despite the fact that such tactics are ineffective.

Taapsee performed a number of gorgeous roles in telugu films, but none of them helped her become a famous heroine because they were all box office duds. As opportunities decreased, she relocated to mumbai and started pursuing opportunities there, which in some cases was successful. Her performance-focused flicks have connected there more than her bikini shows and seductive charms. She currently has a role alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki, directed by PK's Rajkumar Hirani. The actress recently claimed that although being in a strong position now, south films never provided her with decent roles and the opportunity to demonstrate her acting ability.

One may ask why the actress acted in so many telugu films given the subpar roles that were offered to her. She reportedly gained a lot of money here by acting in all those films, so why does she suddenly claim that the South doesn't give her good roles? What would she say if she didn't succeed like ileana in bollywood at that point? Taapsee certainly attracted notice with these comments, though.
