South indian actress Nithya Menen was last seen in the tamil film 'Thiruchitrambalam' and the actress is now reportedly said to be part of Dhanush's next directorial 'D 50'. In a recent media interaction, the actress reportedly opened up about her experience on working with actor Vijay in 'Mersal'. She stated that only few actors in the industry have an overbearing status and actor Vijay though is one of them, she felt easy to work along with him.

Nithya Menen said that she was very comfortable while working along with Vijay.
'Mersal' starred Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, samantha and Nithya Menen in lead roles and the film was the first collaboration of Nithya Menen with Vijay. audience were happy with their on screen pair and the actress said that she was approached by atlee earlier for raja Rani and Theri but was not able to be part of the films and that she finally agreed for his film 'Mersal'.
The actress also reportedly said that 'Mersal' was not a type of film that she would generally prefer but wanted to try it out as she felt the script was genuine and said that the role suited her well. The actress had a very minimum screen share time with Vijay, but the audience were happy with the onscreen couple as their appearances suited very well.
On other hand, Vijay in the work front is now awaiting for the release of his film 'Leo'. Directed by lokesh kanagaraj, the film is set to release in theatres on october 19. The film features Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Mansoor ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, gautham Vasudev menon and priya Anand. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Vijay has also signed up for his next with director Venkat Prabhu. Tentatively titled as 'Thalapathy 68', the movie will go on grounds in october and the music for the film is composed by Yuvan shankar Raja. The moviemakers are yet to announce the cast of the film.
