The Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara film "Jawan" has shattered all previous records and set new box office records. The thrilling movie is still playing in cinemas and has become an all-time hit. More than 50 days after the movie's premiere, a fresh rumour has surfaced on social media, claiming that samantha Ruth Prabhu was considered by the filmmakers to portray the female protagonist before Nayanthara was cast. The actress from "The Family Man," however, allegedly declined to accept the part.

Yes. sam reportedly turned down the film's offer in 2019 because of obligations in her personal life. Nayanthara, who had collaborated with director atlee on "Bigil," was then chosen to portray the title role in "Narmada." On the other hand, this has not yet been confirmed in writing. Notably, samantha and atlee have a strong friendship and have previously collaborated on films like "Theri" and "Mersal."

Professionally speaking, samantha most recently starred alongside vijay deverakonda in the romantic comedy "Kushi." The renowned duo raj and DK will be directing the indian version of the American online series "Citadel," in which she will make her next appearance. This will be their second partnership, coming after the highly successful "The Family Man" Season 2. Aside from that, the actress has been concentrating on her health while simultaneously juggling her extensive travel schedule.
