It has been 25 days since today that my family and I were on the brink of death due to an accident. The accident took place while returning from kerala for the funeral of one of his wife's relations. Sadly, this has happened when everything has come together after a few years of waiting. It happened due to the carelessness of another motorist in the wee hours of the morning. After almost an hour of struggle, they broke the car doors and brought us out. All of them were faceless people who passed through the unknown. It was these faceless men from another state who fought hard to save us and admitted us to the right hospital. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today. I feel that thank you is an understatement.
Nowadays we pass road accidents as normal news. The fact that the bus fell off the bridge and the car overturned is not shocking. How many dreams and hopes are dashed on these roads in seconds? The drivers do not consider this. I am reminded of the Tibetan saying that if you want to understand someone's life and suffering, stand at their feet and look at them.
My wife and children were taken to Rajagiri (Aluva) Hospital near the accident site. The children were not seriously injured as a result of the collision. Like everyone else, my wife was hit hard in this accident. Fate also allowed me to break many bones and see the peak of pain.
For more than the first ten days, the agony of the body made it impossible to think of anything. Modern medicine connects the broken places with screws and metal plates. Doctors surgically implanted these where my wife needed them. After that, I couldn't even move from the bed. We imagine that we are many times stronger and can withstand anything. But only when we experience real pain or suffering do we realize how weak we are.
Nothing to complain about Rajagiri Hospital. Do not use the word deficiency. Both the nurses and doctors working there gave kindness, love, and service beyond words. That was a real cure for me and my wife who were devastated.
Everyone was happy to get the news that he would be released from the hospital a week ago. But later everyone came to know that the cure was not yet complete. We have rented a house next to the hospital. He has to stay here for another month as he has to go to the hospital for frequent check-ups. After that, he returned to town and stayed in bed for two months. To put it bluntly, the next six months are home. Even after listening to the advice of doctors to think about taking any substance, fatigue occurs all over the body. What can we do if the two adults are in trouble, except break our fate?

The friend we used to tease and make fun of in my childhood came to look for me after all these years and helped me; I wonder what can be done better than thanking the friends of Delta who not only comforted me but also gave unexpected financial help when I left with my family. Nothing can replace true friendship. These friends are just like that; I have no words to say the above.
At first, the pain bothered me a lot, but I realized that pain is a part of life. Moments of pain and suffering complete our lives as much as moments of joy. The stalled film work should be resumed soon. During this free time, we still have to work on the final shape for the next film.
