Taking fans by storm, actor Chaitannya Choudhry made the emotional decision to change his stage name to Dhruv. The actor, who shared screen space with shilpa shetty in 'Sukhee', took to social media to announce the significant news through a heartfelt instagram post.
Chaitannya Choudhry wrote, “There comes a time in every life when the winds shift, when the soul quietly speaks a new name—not to forget the past, but to embrace the journey ahead. In a moment of still reflection, between the echoes of yesterday and the hopes of tomorrow, I discovered a name that had been waiting for me.”
He elaborated, “A name that feels like home. A name that carries the light of purpose, the strength of presence, and the calm certainty of truth. From this day forth, I step into the world as Dhruv—The steadfast star. A compass for my becoming."
Chaitannya, aka Dhruv, sent a note to his supporters, friends, and colleagues in which he stressed that the change is not about forgetting the past but rather about making meaningful efforts towards the future.
He concluded, "The heart behind every story remains the same. The hands that shaped art will still reach for wonder. And together, we will continue to craft moments that move hearts and light up skies.”

The most recent film in which the actor appeared was 'Sukhee', in which shilpa shetty starred as the main character.
