Found hanging
On 7 february 2008, Lavina found Kunal hanging in his mumbai house. After the actor's death, the police took Lavina into custody because she was present at home at that time. In her statement, Lavina said that she had gone to the washroom for 10 minutes, in that time Kunal hanged himself.
No evidence was found against the girlfriend
