Thug Life Release in Karnataka: Supreme court has reacted to the release of Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life'. The court said that the film should be released in Karnataka. Regarding the release of Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life' in karnataka, the supreme court said that this film should be released in the state. It also said that mobs and vigilantes cannot be allowed to occupy the streets. The court said, 'According to the law, a film with CBFC approval should be released in every state'.


The film 'Thug Life' was released in theaters across the country on june 5. However, due to the language dispute, Kamal Haasan's film could not be released in Karnataka. The matter of the release of the film in the state reached the supreme Court. On this, the supreme court has given relief to Kamal Haasan. The supreme Court in its comment said that the film approved by the CBFC should be released in every state as per the law.

Apart from this, on the non-release of 'Thug Life' in karnataka, the supreme court said that 'intimidating people, threatening to burn down theaters cannot be tolerated'. The supreme court also gave relief to Kamal Haasan on his alleged controversial remarks regarding language and said that the karnataka High court should not have sought an apology from Kamal Haasan for his remarks. Also, the case related to 'Thug Life' was transferred to the supreme Court.


The supreme court has given one day's time to the karnataka government to give information about the release of the film 'Thug Life' in the state. Also said that the rule of law should be establishedAccording to news agency ANI, on the petition demanding protection of Karnataka theaters from threats regarding the release of Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life', the supreme court today directed the karnataka government to file its reply by tomorrow. The apex court said that in view of the seriousness of the matter, in the last hearing, it had issued a notice to the respondent state and sought its response.


The bench of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice manmohan also said that as per the law, every film approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) should be allowed to be released and mobs and vigilantes should not be allowed to take to the streets and create a ruckus on this issue. The apex court also ordered that the case pending before the karnataka High court on this issue be transferred to it.


What is the controversy over the film?


'Thug Life' could not be released in karnataka because the film's actor kamal haasan had made an alleged controversial statement in the kannada language. He had said that the kannada language originated from Tamil. A controversy had arisen over this. First, the matter reached the High courtafter which it reached the supreme Court.
