* Hospital Visit After Stomach Pain
Television actress dipika kakar is once again dealing with a health scare during her ongoing liver cancer treatment.
On february 21, she visited the hospital after suffering from stomach pain for two days.
Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared the update through his YouTube vlog.
Initially, the pain seemed manageable but intensified at night, prompting immediate medical attention.
* CT Scan Reveals Small Cyst
Doctors recommended a CT scan to determine the cause of her discomfort.
The scan detected a small cyst measuring approximately 1.3 cm in her abdomen.
Despite the cyst being minor in size, the stomach and shoulder pain caused significant concern.
Notably, a PET scan conducted in december had not shown this cyst.
* Reports Mostly Normal
Dipika clarified that doctors believe the left-side pain is not directly caused by the cyst.
Most medical reports have come back nearly normal.
Her AFP (Alpha-Fetoprotein) level is slightly elevated, but doctors are not overly worried at this stage.
However, given her past diagnosis of liver cancer in May 2025 and aggressive tumors, the couple remains cautious.
* Minor Procedure Planned
Instead of major surgery, doctors will perform a small procedure to burn the cyst.
The treatment is possible because the cyst is under 2 cm in size.
Dipika will be admitted to the hospital for 3–4 days before undergoing the procedure next Tuesday.
Doctors may revise her treatment plan, potentially replacing oral chemotherapy with immunotherapy or another approach.
* Emotional Appeal to Fans
Dipika admitted feeling extremely scared but relieved that the issue was detected early.
She emphasized the importance of regular follow-ups and not ignoring even mild pain.
The couple has requested prayers and support from fans while continuing to stay hopeful and positive.
