The last few weeks was seeing a lot of drama happening around the Eluru region and this was because of the TDP leader and Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar assaulting a police inspector and absconding. But now it is heard that he has finally come into the open and surrendered before Eluru court.
But within no time he was also given the conditional bail with two sureties of Rs 40000 and Chintamaneni walked out with the same speed that he came in. sources say he was underground because he was trying for the bail all these days and once that got confirmed he revealed himself.
This is a very common thing to happen and that is one reason why many MLAs and Ministers tend to get away with anything they do because the law is very weak. Sources say things got serious here because the inspector who was assaulted happened to be from SC/ST community.
