Meanwhile this included Reddy's household staff, personal assistant Krishna Reddy, and driver Prasad.

Furthermore the officers from the SIT visited the premises and carried out an inspection inside and around the house of the ex-Kadapa MP. Reports added the letter, purportedly written by Vivekananda before his death, said that the driver had beaten him, and suggested that the murder was an 'inside job'. Earlier the family members said he died of cardiac arrest. Apparently on a complaint by his personal assistant, the police registered a case of unnatural death under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and began investigation. Accordingly less than a month before the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state, the murder has triggered a huge row between the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the opposition YSRCP.
