Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS
jagan Mohan Reddy met his Telangana Counterpart, K Chandrasekhara Rao, the other day at
pragathi Bhavan,
hyderabad. Various contentious issues between both the Telugu States including the Mega Project of Godavari and
krishna Rivers linking were discussed. Bifurcation-related issues, including government staff division, outstanding dues in various departments also came up between both the Chief Ministers.
Meanwhile, Yellow Media seems to be keen on creating a rift between both the Telugu States and the Narendra
modi government at the Centre. Eenadu daily carried a banner story today stating that "
jagan and
kcr are upset with the Central Government'. The media house favorable to Telugu Desam Party tried to project the meeting between
kcr and
jagan held at
pragathi Bhavan yesterday as a meeting to discuss on how to take on PM
modi and the Central government, who are showing discrimination against the Telugu States.
AP Chief Minister's Office was quick to condemn Eenadu's Malicious campaign on
kcr-
jagan meeting. The CMO issued a statement clarifying that no political issues were discussed in the meeting and only the issue of Godavari water diversion and pending bifurcation issues between both the Telugu States were discussed.
