In the last hour of andhra pradesh assembly Winter Session, chief minister YS jagan mohan reddy hinted about the state going to have three capitals, probably in the three regions - Coastal Andhra, uttarandhra, and rayalaseema in the name of Decentralization of Development. Surprisingly, tdp mla, ganta srinivasa rao welcomed this move of the government increasing the speculations of the party change.
However, this did not go well with minister Avanti Srinivas. “Ganta cannot survive for a long time without being part of the power center. Wherever power is there, he has to be there. He is a rank opportunist. There is no place for such opportunities in the party,” Avanti said.
Interestingly, Ganta and Avanti srinivas were colleagues in the telugu Desam Party. Avanti was in the tdp till the last elections before jumping into the YSRC just before the elections. He has become a minister later. It is interesting to note that Ganta did not even attend the recent Winter Session of the assembly fueling the speculations of the party change.
