YS Jagan’s uncle and Ex-Mayor of Kadapa Ravindranath Reddy have a dream to become MLA. He tried for Kadapa Assembly ticket but YSR denied to that. Jagan was appointed Ravindranath Reddy as in-charge for Kamalapuram Assembly Segment. Ravindranath has already kick-off his campaign in the Segment. TDP is the strong contender to YSRCP in this segment. Putta Narashimha Reddy is TDP nominee from Kamalapuram Segment. He has very good relations throughout all the villages in the segment.
YS Jagan wants to sweep all 10 Assembly Segments from Kadapa district in 2014 elections. Jagan is confident to do that but he has doubt in Kamalapuram segment. Jagan has received ground level reports saying that TDP is ahead of YSRCP in this segment. Worried Jagan wants to change the candidate in Kamalapuram. Senior Leader Mysoora Reddy too belongs to Kamalapuram. Reportedly, Jagan gave the option of selecting new candidate for this segment. Mysoora Reddy has turned down his request.
After seeing all these developments in YSRCP, Ravindranath Reddy threatened to leave the party. As per latest political buzz, Ravindranath Reddy also dared to cut-off family relations if he replaced anyone for Kamalapuram. He expressed his feelings with her sister Vijayamma. She convinced Jagan on Kamalapuram. Jagan is in dilemma whether to change the in-charge or not in Kamalapuram Segment. Reportedly, Jagan wants Vijayamma to contest from Kamalapuram. He believes that Vijayamma candidature will give boost to the party cadre. Earlier, it was Kadapa MP and now Kamalapuram Assembly causes worried to Jagan.
