In what may be turning out to be one of Hyderabad's biggest real estate scams recently, media reports say that 65 customers of the Tellapur-based Aliens Space Station-I project have lodged a police complaint against the company.
They have reportedly accused the developer, Aliens Group, of cheating and criminal intimidation. The total worth of this scam, they have alleged, is reportedly more than Rs 300 crore that the company seems to have swindled from more than 390 buyers.
Customers say that the company is refusing to hand over the constructed flats to the owners and instead, they are asking for extra money contrary to sale agreements and reports have also surfaced of a single flat being sold to multiple customers.
For some customers, they have also reportedly changed the floor of their apartments. For those who have taken loans, the deductions have started, they are living elsewhere paying hefty rents and now they are feeling cheated by Aliens group.
