Union Finance minister nirmala sitharaman read a verse from the Mahabharata while delivering her budget speech in parliament today. She recited this verse before mentioning the details about direct tax. 

She mentioned the verse which says that everything should be provided for the welfare of his people. Maybe this time she has forgotten the essence of what she read. She read it for the people but missed the benefits for the people.

This time nirmala sitharaman ended the speech in 90 minutes. Usually, she gave a record-breaking budget speech. Kurukshetra war was a long-lasting one, but lessons were learnt- this budget ended in a short duration with its values.

In these speeches, she quotes some verses and commentaries from Sanskrit, or myths and legends. She did not miss this opportunity even in her latest speech. 

She referred to the verse that the king should always lead for the welfare of the people. The king explained that he should not be negligent and should rule righteously. 

The time limit for taxpayers to pay tax on their extra income has been extended to two years. It states that if there are errors in the tax returns, it is a good opportunity to correct them. 

The new rule would further simplify the tax payment process. The new regulations would reduce litigation and allow for voluntary taxation.

Nirmala sitharaman said that private telecom providers will be making 5g services available by next year. The spectrum auction required to make 5g mobile services available through private telecom operators would be held in 2022. 

5G mobile services will be available by 2022-23. nirmala sitharaman said the installation of optical fibre in all the villages in the country will be completed by 2025. Animation, visual effects, gaming, with the aim of providing employment to the youth in the field of visuals and animation
