The telangana High court gave a shock to two ex-IAS officers in connection with Jagan's illegal assets cases. telangana High court dismissed three quash petitions filed separately by bp acharya Kripanandam. It is known that bp acharya is an accused in the cases of land allotment to Hetero Aurobindo lepakshi Knowledge Hubs.

In this context, the telangana High court upheld the decision issued by the cbi court to investigate the charges against bp Acharya. The telangana High court has dismissed separate petitions filed by bp acharya, then VC MD of andhra pradesh industrial infrastructure corporation (APIIC) challenging the cbi court's trial of charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act (ACB). Also, the court dismissed the petition filed by another former IAS officer Kripanandam to strike out the case against him in the Bharti Cements case.

To this extent, telangana High court Chief Justice Justice Ujjal Bhuyan recently conducted an inquiry on the petitions filed by bp acharya, who is an accused in lepakshi Knowledge Hub Hetero Aurobindo. When the charge sheet was filed against bp acharya in 2012, the cbi court took up the investigation only on the charges under the IPC sections as there was no central sanction for the prosecution. BP acharya approached the telangana High court to strike out this case and earlier it issued an interim order stopping the investigation. These have been extended till september 2021. In 2016, the central government issued an order allowing acharya to be prosecuted. As a result, the cbi has filed a memo to charge acharya under the Prevention of Corruption Act (ACB) in both cases.
