Shelly Oberoi, the mayor of delhi, claims that some bjp members attacked her in a way that put her life in danger on friday during new fighting between bjp and AAP councillors at the Civic Center.
At the Civic Center in New delhi on friday, during the election of members of the MCD Standing Committee, Mayor Shelly Oberoi was preparing to depart when there were altercations between AAP and bjp councillors. Oberoi also claimed that her colleague Ashu Thakur had been attacked by a bjp councillor.
The election for six members of the standing committee of the Municipal Corporation of delhi (MCD) will be conducted again at 11 am on february 27. Earlier, the mayor adjourned the House.

According to Oberoi, who spoke to reporters, "I came to the police station to submit a complaint against them (BJP councillors) and requested the police to provide me with police protection."
